Live: Naples City Council to consider new downtown parking garage
The Naples City Council on Tuesday considers a $15 million proposal for a new downtown parking garage. Business leaders on Fifth Avenue South are urging the council to approve the garage planned at the intersection of Fourth Street South and Fourth Avenue South, but critics say the project is too costly and unfit for the nearby residential area. There is also a concern about using millions in anti-blight funding to pay for the project.
